I just came home from spending 4 lovely days in Mikkeli, visiting Kikka~
So me and Kikka have known each other for 13 years now!! We met in the summer of 2001, but befriended more the year later. Pretty much been there for each other since then :) We're pretty different in many ways and that probably why we get a long so well :D we learn so much from each other.

So a year ago she got into studying music for a year (she's been singing and playing stuff for many years now) in Otava opisto. There she met Mikael and they hit it off so now they've been together for almost a year :D After graduating they both decided to stay in Mikkeli and it's kinda easy for them also cause they get to stay with Mikael's parents :)
They've been trying to get me to visit them since Kikka started studying there, but i've been either too busy or couldn't afford the trip. Well, since I had to cancel my trip to Barcelona with Heli I decided to finally make the trip to Mikkeli. Left on Saturday late afternoon and it's a 4 hour drive so reached there after 21. They'd gone to get pizza, which was really good!!! We watched Fifth Element then called it a night.

I got up waaaaay too early, 8am!! On a Sunday!!! So got all ready cause I know Kikka wakes up on time, but after waiting till noon I took a nap after which Kikka did wake up. Not surprised that she slept so late cause she was at a camp the whole previous week. First we went into town since it was Mikaels birthday we got him his gift and went to Amarillo for lunch. After that we went to Anttola so they could get some stuff from Mikaels place and they showed me around. Later in the evening we walked to the city so that me and Kikka would know the way there.

Monday I woke up a bit late, got ready and walked to town. Damn it was hot!!!! And I had wrong clothes on. Obviously. Didn't find what I was looking for so met up with Kikka after she got off work and we hang out on the lake for a while before going home. Later in the evening ended back at Anttola :D
Tuesday Kikka was getting off work earlier so we went to meet her there and just followed her on her errands :D We got home too early with nothing to do so went for a drive and they showed me some areas nearby and where they studied. Back home we had nothing to do so decided to show them Running Man. Ended up watching it alone. xD
So what I thought of Mikkeli: beautiful, calm and seemed much cleaner then Salo xD I loved that there's a lake where ever you go!! Especially right next to the railway and bus station. We have the sea right there, but a lake is so much better~
Ended up wearing the same skirt all four days, and thank God I even took a skirt with me!! Packed a few extra clothes cause the weather has been so unpredictable. Had I known it was gonna be this hot I'd had a smaller bag with me :''D
The times while Kikka was up I got to know Mikael a bit more :) It's not like we don't have anything in common :'D All in all, I had a wonderful time and so happy I got to spend it with two great people!! :)
Now that I'm home and it's finally hot again, i hope to find someone who'd go swimming with me before it gets cold again.

What else... Well, I noticed that Disney has continued Boy Meets World with Girl Meets World, where they continue after 10years after BMW. Before seeing the trailer I thought they made a remake of it, but then 'Cory' and 'Topanga' show up and I freaked~!!!! So then I started watching BMW, cause i didn't know that it's till season 7 xD Since our internet hasn't been working, I couldn't torrent it, so I'm having to watch it online... At least I found them. The kids shows in the 90's were so much better that one doesn't have to twinge while watching the episodes. Miss shows like this one... Hopefully Girl Meets World will be at least close to the original.
Vip got his results back and kinda sad now :/ he needed a 5 in chemistry to get into Australia, but got 4 and it was just away from one point for a 5!!! So he asked it to be checked again and we all have our fingers crossed! Also, we might be going to Rome in a few weeks :D
The plan is to go to Rome, where we'll reach late evening. Drive to a town between Naples and Pompeii, stay the night there. See Pompeii the next day then the day after that drive back to Rome and spend the last 4 days there. Hoping we'll actually go, cause who knows when we'll be able to have a family vacation once Vip goes off to study... Plus, it's Italy~ Me and papa have been planning this for so many years now xD
