Korea and stuff

Forgot to mention in the earlier post that I've started to learn Korean language (or at least trying to). I guess it all started when I started to watch some other shows then Running Man and started catching some words. Kinda decided to that after I graduate I might move to S-Korea for a year... Or might move to London with Heli, since we're graduating at the same time (fingers crossed!)

Korean seems kinda easy enough, finally recognizing the letters more. It's just the grammer that's still a bit hard and the words are so loooong. One weekend translated people's name and my name ain't that hard to translate~ woo~

I started with learning some easy everyday words and learning the numbers. And all the K-drama was of big help :D So, been watching My Love From Another Star, Emergency Couple (JiHyo!!), City Hunter, Heirs, Jank Ok Jeong.... And I've started watching some other. Anything Lee Min Ho!! So seen the first eps of Boys Over Flowers, Personal Taste, The Great Doctor, Angel Eyes, Doctor Stranger and couple other. Got an ad-on for Netflix so I found most of these on there. Happy~happy~

It was tough writing it neat since never had written anything else but English.. but I managed :D now days my handwriting is much neater. Here are a couple other pics that I've used to help me with translating.

Did my nails today. Went with a bit summer colors. Probably try marble nails next week if I have time.

And on another topic, last time my parents went to India they bought me three dozen henna cones. So now almost every week I've been practicing on my arm. Done a few for my friends. Did wish that I could start a side business with moms Restaurant Day, but no luck there. In the pic above is one of my recent doings after almost 2 months break of nothing. I had 2 very busy months at school, with prepping for the Talent Show and all.

A few of my faves. Gonna start doing more cause I wanna be able to make detailed designs. 

So, my brother has moved back home. Not permanently though. His high school is now finally over! He was in IB in Tikkurila - Vantaa for the past three years. Had his own "apartment" right in front of the school, so that was handy. He's now somewhere near Hämenlinna at a summer cottage with his friends and my parents have been packing and moving his stuff to Salo xD real fair... Well the exams were really tough, so might as well go have fun with his classmates.
He's applied to a few Uni's in Scotland and Australia. We'll know after 7.7. when his result comes where he'll be going. Hopefully not too far. Kinda hoping it'll be Aberdeen University cause the campus is beautiful. :D not selfish at all!! Your argument is invalid!! Gonna miss him so when he'll go. Trying to make the best of this summer, but all he wants to do is stay in his room and play games. Not nice.. Evil brother is evil!

IT'S HERE!! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! Summer, is what i'm talking about! :D

 Yes, I'm gonna start with the weather, cause that's what is on our mind now days. Winter was miserable, dark and gloomy... was just waiting for summer and then after our very long wait, it arrived <3 and dayumn, the heat <3

Ohkay, so now about my studies and work. It's all good~ been having fun with it all. Studies now seem so easy after 5 years of high school and studying for exams. For this we have 4 parts performance/practical for the degree. Preparing for it was a bit tough, but in the end it went really well and I passed my first part!

The school I started interning at since January is a grade school and is pretty big. It has a class for foreigner children to learn Finnish and prep them for normal class. I learnt Finnish in the same class, just when it was in another school and another teacher. I felt very comfy going to intern in this class. I was nervous of being a "teacher" even if it's as a assistant teacher. But first day went well, then the first week and so on. I've pretty much been trying to teach some Indian students Finnish and it has been tough. Especially if I compare teaching other students in the class. But I do come home feeling rewarded, at least most of the days. Now it's the last week of school so a bit relieved,  even though I liked going to work everyday.

My cousin came to visit us last Friday for around 3 weeks, with her family. It had been 4 years since I'd seen them, so I was really excited for their visit. They left for Paris today and will be returning on Friday. We've plan a trip to Turku on Saturday and it's graduation day, so going to a party also. On the fourth we're taking a day cruise and rest of the time just relax and go barbequing and swimming. Typical Finnish style~

Well, this week started good, spent some time with my cousin and Kikka came back to Salo :) Trying to meet some other friends, but might have to wait till summer holidays start. Also, I already have one assignment and gonna be getting another one, that is due before mid-summer. Sucks. I also need money and been looking for a job, but this is Salo so nothing :( Had plans to go on a roadtrip or SOMETHING! Then Heli tells me that she got a intern position in London and will be getting her own place during that period, so if i get enough money really wanna go to London for a quick visit.

Let's rewind a bit. For Vappu I wanted to dress up a bit cause it was costume day at work. Didn't take me that long to decide on my 11th Doctor outfit! But I only got to wear it a couple hours cause we, as a class, we're having a Bollywood dance for the schools Talent Show (we didn't win :/). Later in the evening had a party to go to and was told that I can wear a costume. Well, for that i decided to go "princess". Here's a pic of all three outfits :)

So for my Doctor outfit I'd made the fez out of a yogurt tub, gluing felt on it. I'd bought the bow-tie and suspenders from H&M. The jacket I found in a second-hand shop and skirt is many years old. I'd borrowed my dads shirt :P
My Indian outfit is a salwar kurta I got made in '08
My Princess outfits skirt was bought from Cybershop and it's pretty lacey (just the way I love it <3) longer in the back so it's kinda bride-y also. I usually wear a black top with this skirt. For halloween I'd borrowed a black corset from a friend. It matched perfectly.

During Easter I got my first tattoo!! Done by Kikka (see more of her work somewhere here)

"Inochi wa Michi wo Hiraku" = "Life will find a way". Akira sketched it perfectly~  It's on my back, fyi. Gonna get couple more and it'll make a nice sequence. Already got the second figured out "Beautiful Mistakes" also in kanji.

I guess that's it. Will mostlikely write about my summer in August... or some time... who knows.... (Doctor Who will be back in August <3) Defiantly gonna try to write a bit more since I can now do it also on my iPad :)
