I got sick in the starting of the week, so Monday and Tuesday was spent mostly in bed. Finally got an inhaler so i can finally breath~
Been listening to a lot of Eminem lately.. weird.. I guess I'm in one of those moods again :D
Next London trip is gonna be on the 1.6, so more about London the week after :)
I started watching Desperate Housewives cause I'd started watching it from the fifth season, but I also so want to re-watch the seventh season of Doctor Who. Those who know me, know how much I love that show and will go all nerdy if mentioned. Thank God they started showing it in Finland last summer and one of my friends got hooked on it. She already knew a little bit about it cause of me! :D Got this awesome handmade bag from her as a farewell gift <3
So now I'm watching DW! Started from Asylum of the Daleks cause that's Clara's first appearance and I fell in love with her immediately!! The first time I saw it I did wonder for the whole episode that wasn't Jenna Louise-Coleman supposed to start from the Christmas episode! Well...Gotta love Moffat!! IMDB wasn't any help, so added her to the first episode. Again, LOVED her!!
Now a little bit about the previous companions. Loved them together. Amy I didn't like so much. Dunno why, it's just something about that character that just didn't.. mmeh. Rory on the other hand!! Loved him!! And I love his relationship with Amy and how the Doctor is with the married couple :D
(And in the sixth season, the whole River thing! HIS WIFE!! Didn't see that coming in the Silence in the Library :D)
Ok, so back to the Asylum. The whole episode starts with Amy and Rory about to divorce and they got sent to the Daleks Parliament. Turns out, the Daleks want the Doctor to save them (first dafaq moment). From start to end I was loving Oswins and Doctors bits. "Rescue me Chin Boy and show me the stars" is one of my favorite quotes of the episode.
Well, so turns out Oswin had been turned into a Daleks, but just didn't know it.. Doctor flees with Amy and Rory and the epic line "Run you clever boy and remember" was said for the first time.
Then Oswin somehow got the Doctor removed from the history! That certain bit has yet to be explained.
Next to the last episode for Amy and Rory, The Angels take Manhattan. So long story short, The Doctor discovers a 1930s detective novel that contains exactly what is happening to him and his companions. When Rory disappears, the Doctor Amy must travel to 1938 to recover him, and discover that River is already involved in a plot by the Weeping Angels. Rory arrives in Manhattan first and after Doctor and Amy find him they discover that the Angles are about to send him back in time, so Amy and Rory try to run...away...obviously. When Rory realizes that the only way to escape the Angels is to die.. well... I cried. Then Amy gets up on the ledge and they jump. The music was so good and well shot scene.... Cried even more. That creates a paradox and they end back where they started, at the graveyard. The TARDIS can now ever go back to New York.
BUT THEN RORY DOES GET ZAPPED TO THE PAST!!! :(
Amy decides she's gonna take the shot and see if she'll get zapped to where Rory is.. well she does, so happy ending (in a way). River mentions that she'll get Amy to write an afterword, meaning the last page the Doctor ripped out. That scene was epic~!!
And a bit of other random thoughts, River and Doctor meeting again after a long period was epic! Amy with River, interesting and amusing. The bit where Rory shouts "You're Melody?!" well... obviously!! "Melody Pond" anyone?!
"Just you wait till my husband gets home." LOVE. IT.
BBC released a clip that wasn't shot for the last episode, where Rory send his dad a letter with his son. If anyone hasn't seen it, here it is: DW -P.S.
That's it for today, will continue later this week! :)
